Tory Taylor’s punting helps Bears edge Vikings

Australian punter Tory Taylor played in Chicago’s 19-17 victory over Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium. Taylor punted six times for 286 yards, averaging 47.7 yards per punt, with a long of 57 yards. He recorded two punts inside the 20 and had no touchbacks. The Bears led 10-3 at half-time and extended the advantage to 16-3 after three quarters, before the Vikings responded with 14 points in the final period. Chicago held on when a game-ending field goal completed the comeback victory, set up by Devin Duvernay’s 56-yard kickoff return.
