Bazzana collects two hits as Guardians fall to Diamondbacks

Travis Bazzana recorded two hits, including a double, from five at-bats as the Cleveland Guardians lost 12–8 to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Progressive Field. He scored once, had three assists and finished with three total bases, while striking out once and leaving three runners on base. Bazzana did not record an RBI or home run. Cleveland led 2–0 after the first inning and remained in front until Arizona’s seven-run seventh put the visitors ahead. The Guardians responded with five runs in the eighth, but Arizona added two in the ninth and Cleveland could manage only one in reply. Bazzana also made two putouts without an error.
