Bazzana hitless as Guardians fall to Twins in extra innings

Travis Bazzana played for Cleveland in the Guardians’ 3–1 home loss to the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field. Cleveland led 1–0 after scoring in the fifth inning, but Minnesota levelled in the eighth before adding two runs in the 12th to seal the result. Bazzana went 0-for-4 with one walk across five plate appearances, finishing without a run, hit, RBI or extra-base hit. He struck out none, but recorded three groundouts and one popout, leaving three runners on base. Defensively, Bazzana had six fielding chances and six assists, with no errors recorded. His supplied season line stood at a .242 batting average, .341 on-base percentage and .409 slugging percentage.
