Bazzana contributes as Guardians defeat Twins

Travis Bazzana helped the Cleveland Guardians to a 5–2 win over the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field. The Australian recorded one hit from two at-bats, scored once and drove in one run, while also taking a walk and being hit by a pitch. He stole one base and finished with one total base across four plate appearances. In the field, Bazzana made two putouts and two assists from five chances, with one error recorded. Cleveland recovered from an early 1–0 deficit by scoring twice in the third inning, twice in the sixth and once in the seventh. Minnesota’s only further run came in the fourth, as the Guardians held the Twins scoreless over the final five innings to secure the 5–2 result.
