Bazzana hitless as Guardians fall 7–1 to Pirates

Australian infielder Travis Bazzana played for Cleveland in the Guardians’ 7–1 home loss to Pittsburgh at Progressive Field. He went hitless in four at-bats, striking out three times and recording no runs or RBIs. Bazzana also left two runners on base, while contributing one assist and one putout from two fielding chances without an error. Cleveland scored its only run in the third inning, but Pittsburgh built its lead with runs in the second, fifth, sixth and ninth innings. Bazzana’s supplied season numbers following the game were a .239 batting average, .332 on-base percentage and .404 slugging percentage.
