Bazzana contributes as Guardians fall 7-6 to White Sox

Travis Bazzana played for Cleveland in the Guardians’ narrow 7-6 home loss to the Chicago White Sox at Progressive Field. He went 1-for-5 at the plate, recording one hit, a double, and scoring one run. He had no RBIs, home runs or walks, and struck out once. Bazzana also contributed two assists and one putout in the field without recording an error. Cleveland led 3-2 after the first inning and levelled the scoring at 6-6 with a three-run fifth, but Chicago’s three-run third and single runs in the second and sixth innings proved decisive. The Guardians were held scoreless across the final four innings as the White Sox secured the 7-6 result.
