Bazzana goes hitless as Guardians cruise past Royals

Travis Bazzana played for the Cleveland Guardians in their commanding 11–1 win over the Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field on 30 August 2026. Batting four times, Bazzana went hitless and struck out once, finishing without a run, RBI, walk or extra-base hit. He left three runners on base, with two groundouts and one flyout recorded, while also contributing one assist in the field without an error. Cleveland established control early, scoring three runs in the first inning while Kansas City replied with its only run. The Guardians then added three runs in each of the third and fourth innings before extending their lead with two more in the sixth. The Royals were held scoreless across the final eight innings, including a shutout ninth, as Cleveland completed the 10-run victory.
