Bazzana goes hitless as Guardians fall to Rays

Travis Bazzana played for Cleveland in the Guardians’ 3–1 home loss to the Tampa Bay Rays at Progressive Field on 18 October 2026. Batting four times, he finished without a hit, run or run batted in, striking out twice and leaving two runners on base. Cleveland’s only run came in the sixth inning, after Tampa Bay built a 3–0 lead with one run in each of the opening three innings. Bazzana contributed defensively with two assists and two putouts from four fielding chances, while recording no errors. The result left Cleveland unable to recover despite keeping the Rays scoreless from the fourth inning onwards.
