First big break
Gibson's first major professional breakthrough was his 2010 Oklahoma Open victory at Oak Tree Country Club. His first major public breakthrough came on 12 May 2012, when he shot a 16-under-par 55 at River Oaks Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma.
