Archie Stuart Wayne Goodwin

Archie Stuart Wayne Goodwin is an Australian professional footballer from Newcastle, New South Wales, who plays as a forward/attacker for Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer. He became the youngest Newcastle United Jets player to make his professional debut, developed through the Jets system, produced a breakthrough 2024–25 season with Adelaide United and won the joint A-League Men Golden Boot. Charlotte FC signed him from Adelaide on 13 August 2025 on a contract running through 2028. He was listed by Charlotte FC as an active senior-roster international player as of 24 August 2026.

Born in Newcastle, Australia, on 7 November 2004, Archie Goodwin developed through the Newcastle United Jets pathway before progressing into senior football as a right-footed forward. His playing profile is centred on centre-forward work, attacking space, movement inside the penalty area and finishing. Charlotte FC described his awareness in the box, willingness to run and ability to attack spaces as key qualities when completing his recruitment.
