First big break
Teague’s first major breakthrough came through Sydney FC’s academy and the Joeys. He was identified by Sydney FC’s youth programme as an 11-year-old, joined the academy in October 2015, earned a scholarship at a notably young age and captained Australia at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
