Jason Kato Geria

Jason Kato Geria is an Australian professional football defender from Canberra. A right-sided defender, he developed through Canberra football, the Australian Institute of Sport and the national youth pathway before making his professional breakthrough with Melbourne Victory. He has represented Melbourne Victory, JEF United Chiba, Perth Glory and Albirex Niigata, and is an Australia international. Born in Canberra on 10 May 1993, Jason Kato Geria began playing football in the Australian Capital Territory with Weston Molonglo Football Club. He progressed through the AIS pathway and was later involved with Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory before becoming a senior professional. Geria is primarily a right-back or right-sided defender, with his game built around defensive reliability, athletic coverage and the ability to contribute from wide areas.
