Martin Boyle’s directness is giving Hibernian an attacking reference point

Martin Boyle ’s goal and assist in Hibernian’s 2–1 win at Dundee showed why the veteran forward remains central to a side finding control and threat in the same attacking structure.

That makes the upcoming Edinburgh derby against Hearts on Thursday, 3 September a sharper test of the same role. Dundee allowed Boyle to exploit hesitation in transition. Hearts should offer less room and more aggressive pressure.
