Gibson falls to Alexandrova in Montreal three-setter

Australian Talia Gibson was beaten by Ekaterina Alexandrova in the Montreal M5 round, losing 5-7, 6-1, 6-3. Gibson took the opening set 7-5 but Alexandrova levelled with a 6-1 second-set win before securing the match by taking the third set 6-3. Gibson’s supplied record shows one set won and two sets lost in the completed match.
