Preston advances past Hon in Vancouver

Australian Taylah Preston defeated compatriot Priscilla Hon 7-6(3), 6-4 in the M4 round of the Vancouver 125. Preston won both sets, recovering from a tight opening set decided by a tiebreak before securing the second 6-4. Hon lost in straight sets, finishing with six games in the first set and four in the second. The result was recorded as a 2-0 win for Preston, while Hon’s tournament result was a 0-2 loss.
