Australian golfers miss the cut at Shinnecock Hills

The Australian contingent finished without a leaderboard place at the PGA Tour event at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. Cameron Smith and Lucas Herbert recorded the best Australian totals, each finishing on 146, six over par, but both were listed as CUT. Min Woo Lee followed on 147, seven over par, also missing the cut. Adam Scott carded 148, eight over par, and was likewise listed as CUT. Jason Day was recorded as WD, with no completed score shown. The event was marked completed after Round 4, but none of the five Australians progressed beyond the cut.
