Michael Dickson contributes as Seahawks edge Rams in overtime thriller

Australian punter Michael Dickson played in Seattle’s dramatic 38-37 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field. The Seahawks recovered from a 16-point deficit, overturning a 30-22 fourth-quarter deficit before edging the Rams 8-7 in overtime. Dickson punted five times for 240 yards, averaging 48 yards per punt, with a long of 57 yards. Three of his punts landed inside the 20, while he recorded no touchbacks. Seattle led 7-3 after the opening quarter, trailed 13-7 at half-time and remained behind 23-14 after three quarters before forcing the late comeback. The result completed a high-scoring NFC West contest, with Dickson’s field-position work forming part of the Seahawks’ winning performance.
