Australian midfielder M. Younis started for Brøndby and played 64 minutes in the 2–1 defeat to Odense in the Danish Superliga. Operating in midfield, he recorded one shot, two key passes, four tackles and one interception from 10 passes, while winning six of 18 duels and completing two dribbles. He did not score or provide an assist, and was substituted in the 64th minute. Brøndby held 56 per cent possession and produced more attacking pressure, registering 14 shots, nine corners and an expected-goals figure of 2.58, but could not convert that advantage into a result. The match was level after a busy first half, with Brøndby’s Olti Hyseni scoring in the 42nd minute, before Odense secured the win through an own goal credited to Bartosz Ślisz early in the second half. M. Younis’s defensive work helped Brøndby compete in midfield, but Odense held on at Odense Stadium.
