Walton falls in three-set Winston-Salem Open battle

Australian Adam Walton was beaten by Ignacio Buse in the Winston-Salem Open round of 32, losing 2-6 7-5 3-6 in a match lasting 1:58:45. Walton dropped the opening set 2-6 but responded strongly in the second, taking it 7-5 to level the contest at one set apiece. Buse, however, regained control in the decider and closed out a 2-1 victory by winning the third set 6-3. Walton finished with one set won and two sets lost, with the result recorded as a defeat.
