Popyrin exits National Bank Open in straight sets

Alexei Popyrin was beaten 6-3, 6-4 by Thiago Agustin Tirante in the National Bank Open presented by Rogers round of 32 in Montreal. Popyrin lost both sets, with the match lasting 1 hour, 16 minutes and 11 seconds. The Australian did not record a set win as Tirante completed a 2-0 victory.
