De Minaur falls in three-set Montreal thriller

Alex de Minaur was beaten by Cameron Norrie in the National Bank Open presented by Rogers round of 32 in Montreal. De Minaur won the opening set 7-5 and pushed the second to a tiebreak, but Norrie levelled after taking it 7-6(5) before closing out the match 6-1. The Australian lost 2-1 overall, with the contest lasting 2:52:55. No other Australian players were supplied for this event.
