Alex de Minaur’s Mubadala Citi DC Open campaign ended in the quarter-finals with a 6-7(5) 4-6 loss to Brandon Nakashima in Washington. The Australian was edged in the opening-set tiebreak before Nakashima closed out the match by winning the second set 6-4. De Minaur finished with no sets won and two sets lost, with the contest lasting 1:54:35.
