Vukic falls to Musetti in three-set Washington battle

Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic was beaten by Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti in the round of 16 at the Mubadala Citi DC Open in Washington. Vukic lost 3-6, 7-5, 3-6 in a match lasting 2:16:08. He recovered from dropping the opening set by taking the second 7-5, but Musetti closed out the deciding set 6-3 to win the match 2-1. Vukic’s tournament ended with one set won and two lost.
