Vukic falls to Lajal in Cincinnati Open qualifying

Australian Aleksandar Vukic was beaten by Mark Lajal in the Cincinnati Open Q2 round, losing 7-6(3) 3-6 4-6 in a match lasting 2:27:29. Vukic took the opening set in a tiebreak, but Lajal levelled the contest in the second before closing out the deciding set 6-4. Vukic finished with one set won and two lost, ending his qualifying campaign with a three-set defeat.
