Bradley Richard Thomas is an Australian former professional baseball pitcher from Sydney, New South Wales. A left-handed pitcher who also batted left-handed, he attended Mitchell High School in Blacktown and began his professional career in the United States after signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1995. He later joined the Minnesota Twins organisation and made his Major League Baseball debut for Minnesota on 26 May 2001. Thomas appeared in MLB across the 2001, 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2011 seasons, representing the Twins and Detroit Tigers primarily as a relief pitcher. He also played professionally overseas, including in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and represented Australia internationally at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and the 2009 World Baseball Classic. His MLB career concluded with Detroit in 2011. MLB records credit him with 72 regular-season appearances, 104 innings pitched and 45 strikeouts.
