His career averages include 9.4 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per game in the regular season, with playoff averages of 7.1 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers.

As Mills enters the competitive buyout market, he aims to join a team with playoff aspirations, despite not finding a stable role in Atlanta. Although his offensive presence isn't as dominating as it once was, Mills' effectiveness off ball screens, quick decision-making, and respected shooting ability from long distance continue to make him a valuable asset. While the role of a primary playmaker may not suit him best, his skills as an agile combo guard could be a strategic addition for certain teams, offering both on-court skill in short stints and veteran leadership off the court.

Mills, an adept three-point shooter, boasts a season shooting percentage of 38.2% and a career average of 38.9%, making him highly sought after in a league that prizes shooting talent.
